Dr. Melissa Fant is a passionate and dedicated veterinarian who earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the prestigious University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. With a lifelong connection to the state of Georgia, Dr. Fant's deep-rooted commitment to her profession is driven by her love for animals and the rewarding relationships she builds with her patients.

Nurturing her furry and feathered friends, Dr. Fant shares her home with Phoebe, a charismatic former clinic cat who undoubtedly reigns supreme over their household. Beyond her professional life, Dr. Fant finds solace and balance in the practice of yoga, cherishes quality moments with her beloved family, and indulges her intellectual curiosity through avid reading.

Ashley is a Georgia-born, Auburn University graduate who has spent her time soul-searching for a career that sparks her passion. She entered the veterinary field in 2014 and after dabbling in the corporate office world realized that working with animals sparks a joy in her that cannot ever compete with any desk job, so she has found her way back to where she truly belongs. When she is not working, she can be found kayaking on Lake Lanier with her husband, Derek and their two rescue Chiweenies, Rumi and Sprout.
